Lava Flows

Since we've returned from Maui, we've been craving these drinks - the Lava Flow. Yum!
Well, for our date night, I tried to recreate it and it was pretty similar.
Here's the recipe:

3 oz of pina colada syrup
1 cup of ice
1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 1/2 cups strawberry puree

Blend all ingredients except the strawberry purree. Pour into glasses and garnish with strawberry purree.

(I made my own strawberry puree by blending 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries, a little bit of water and about 1/3-1/2 cup of sugar)

I think next time I'll add a little bit of sprite to the mix so that it gets a little kick since we don't add rum to ours.

And I totally forgot the whipped cream to put on top, so next time I'll add that too.
